Dear Sally was found today in the lake near to where she lived, she had been there some time. Her owners have searched this area daily but it seems that her body may have been dislodged by the recent heavy rain. Chris and family would like to say that everyone's help has meant a lot at this very sad time. Run free lovely girl XX

Sally went out of the garden as the gate had accidently been left open. Sally is on heart medication so her owners are extremely worried about her and are working very hard to find her. Thanks for your offer of help Jenferdog. Please could you contact Chris directly as she can tell you exactly the places that have already been searched. I have spoken to Sally's owners tonight and there is still no news. All local papers have been contacted as well as vets, dog warden, police and the council. Also lots of leaflets gone out. So let's hope that brings some news of Sally XX

Please, please hound the Dog Wardens in the Area and out of the area + Vets, do not let what happened to Delphi happen to this old girl.  Just because they find an old dog does not mean they can make decisions.   Make sure they all get a photo of her and pester them every day even take one to the local police I know they don't take dogs anymore but someone may call them.  Every stone left unturned etc etc.   Hope she is found soon, thinking of you and her.

Have you checked any sheds or outbuildings in case Sally has got shut in? Make sure you ask neighbours to check theirs.

Hope Sally is found soon. Try the local papers and when you get some photos poster the Local shops. Sally is too old to wonder too far.

So sorry to hear this old girl has gone missing. It is vital that you send a photo to doglost asap so posters can be printed off and put up all around the area she went missing from. Make sure you send posters to all vets and rescue centres in your area and don't forget to inform the dog warden. An old dog like this can't have wandered far so ask the postmen to keep a look out for her and try and get the local schoolchildren to help look for her as they don't miss a thing. Good luck with the search, sorry I am too far away to be of any help.
