Fantastic news, Pam rung me day she went missing. Kept in touch since & such good news to see she is back & we hopefully have some new people to stay as helpers. Can only re-iterate what others have said about leaving outside shops- we all used to do it. I only stopped when I joined Doglost & found out just how nasty some people can be. Welcome Home little one xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I meant to post on here yesterday after a very excited call from Pam to say that Suzy had been recovered. I am over the moon for you all, and a big thank you to Jodie for all your hard work. It would be fantastic if you stayed on as helper. So, congratulations Brian, and welcome home little Suzy. Do stay close to each other now ! x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks to you all for your support with this, we couldn't have done it without you!   Like I said to Pam yesterday it's a shame the world isn't full of people like you!  I will keep logging on the website and I am more than happy to help with any dogs that go missing in my area!  Keep in touch xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Whew Jodie - that was a close call. I am so glad you got your pretty wee girl home again. Please alert others to the fact that is not safe to leave your dog outside a shop or anywhere out of your control. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

THis such fantastic news ! I got the call from Jodie today whilst i was out to say they had just paid a reward and she was just driving Suzy home with Brian her owner. I really must commend Jodie on the level of support she has given to Brian, Suzy's owner. Her efforts  have been absolutely tireless with 100' s of posters going up, newspaper coverage and tv filming. !  Suzy will be getting a chip and they were going to stop off and buy a new harness as the one she was wearing has mysteriously dissappeared !!   Well done Jodie ......Brian is so lucky to have you as a friend x Brian PLEASE never leave her outside ANY shop again!  Welcome home Suzy and stay safe from now on xx Pam     Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Suzy is home. Email sent to admin: I am just letting you all know that Suzy has been returned today.  A lady phoned Brian today to say she had found her Worsbrough Common area of Barnsley, not sure how much of that I believe.  She wanted to meet us at Tesco where Suzy was stolen from and asked for the reward, we gave her ?50.  When we met her she was sat on the floor with Suzy stroking her and Suzy was wearing a coat, lead and a collar (she was wearing a blue harness and Brown lead when she went missing) which I found odd.  About 5 mins after we arrived another man turned up to met the woman who claimed to be her son.  Suzy is ok, she seems a little nervous and has lost some weight but all in all she's ok.   I'm glad she's home safe and sound!   Thank you to all of you that have helped us with the search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to the owner and also Jodie who is helping him find  Suzy and  hopefully a photo of this girl will be on site soon. A lady with a small child was picked up on cctv cameras stroking the dog outside Tescos and then a lady of the same description again with a small child was seen walking away with a dog like Suzy in the direction of B&Q and Kendray. Many posters have been out up and there will be LOTS of media coverage for this girl. Making her TOO HOT TO HANDLE !!!  Pam x
