- Yesterday’s update from owner
There was a possible sighting of Ruby near Newport last night so please keep an eye out for her if you are in the area this week - especially around Church Aston and Longford. If you do see her, please don’t call or chase as she is likely to be very nervous of people and other dogs. Please take a photo if you can and call Mark Everall urgently on 07968 416393. Thanks for your help π€πΌπΆ - 2020-01-25 09:35 Nicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
- Today’s update from owner
Our pointer, Ruby, has been missing since New Year’s Eve. Last Saturday there was a possible sighting just off the A519 near the Shropshire Union Canal and yesterday someone saw a spaniel running along the A41 towards the Newport rugby club/Chetwynd deer park. We are wondering if this could have been Ruby as her markings could look like a spaniel’s.
If you’re around the area today, please could you keep an eye out for Ruby. If you do spot her, please don’t call or chase her as it’s really important that she isn’t frightened away to another area. Please call Mark Everall on 07968 416393 as soon as you see her, and take a photo if you can. Thank you π€πΌ - 2020-01-23 12:56 Nicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison

- Another update from owners bumping for this sighting
*** Local update *** After Ruby left the cricket pitch in Brewood last night she may have headed towards Coven. If anyone would be able to help us to put up posters and/or distribute some flyers in Coven area, please let me know and I’ll get some over to you. If you see Ruby please don’t approach, chase or call her as this might frighten her away further. Please also don’t put any food out for her - we know it’s a kind gesture but we are more likely to be able to catch her and ring her home if she’s hungry! Thanks so much everyone #findruby - 2020-01-13 18:28 Nicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison

***UPDATE on Ruby***
One of the most positive sightings so far π€π»
A liver coloured pointer was seen on Brewood cricket pitch at around 10.30am today. She barked at the man who spotted her and then ran away. Mark Everall drove straight over but, unfortunately, there was no sign of her by the time he arrived. Please keep an eye out for Ruby and call Mark on 07968 416393 ASAP if you see her. I don’t have access to my phone during the day (other than at lunchtime) so will not be able to respond as quickly as Mark. Thank you so much everyone for all the help with putting up posters and spreading the word that Ruby is missing - please keep looking out for her especially around Brewood and Bishopswood as we are sure she’s hiding over there somewhere. - 2020-01-07 14:56 Nicky - Area Co-ordinator London, Home Counties & Police Liaison
- ******Owner UPDATE******
Hi I have received a phone call about 13:25 today (Tuesday 7th) from a lady who was driving down Ivetsey Bank Road towards Bishops Wood. She was by the phone box junction on Old Weston road and spotted what looked like the previous reports of what may be our missing Ruby!!! π€π»on the bridal pathway towards the fields on the Kiddemore Green Road and area, which is the area she was potentially spotted on Sunday evening!
If anyone can please keep a look out that would be fantastic, if you do see her, if you can get a possible photo that would be great. Thank you all for your help, it’s greatly appreciated!!! - 2020-01-06 16:34 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- Update from owner
UPDATE: We think Ruby was spotted earlier this evening around Shutt Green Lane near Brewood about 1/4 mile from the Oakley pub end, on fields by the fishing pools belonging to Crews. There are woods and the Belvide reservoir nearby and she could be anywhere between there and the A5.
It’s a big area to search so if anyone sees her around there, along the canal or near Bishops Wood, please can you try to take a photo and call Mark on 07968 416393 or me on 0778 977 4812 as soon as you can. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared and searched already. Fingers crossed for another sighting very soon π€πΌ - 2020-01-05 07:09 Lisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central
