RUBY HAS BEEN FOUND!She was under a shed in the local village and was stuck. The house owner was away on holiday and came home to find her. Thank you so much to everybody that has helped in the search

Walked from Guestling wood round the perimeter of the fields up behind Broomham school and along behind the kennels and then back along the edge of Watermill lane returning through the wood to the car park. Pretty miserable out there any sensible dog would be holed up somewhere trying to stay warm and dry. On a more worrying note there was a report yesterday of a white van being disturbed as the occupants were trying to coax a dog from a property into the van, this happened in Bexhill. Stay safe Ruby and go home.

I've walked in Guestling wood today and no sightings of Ruby, planning to walk the fields between the wood and Icklesham tomorrow. Fingers crossed for some sightings.

I have been down to offer assistance today. Put out some posters in the locality and in pubs from Bodiam to the farm. There were helpers with a drone but they had no luck. I have walked the local fields with a thermal imagier. She is not known to go to ground. Ruby knows the locality well as she runs out with her owner on horseback, which also makes her very fit! There are also woods in the locality where they go. She ran off with her spaniel friend and the spaniel was found in the village by its owner and brought home. Rubys owner then went to the spot and looked for her to no avail. She is very friendly and would jump into any car I understand. She was wearing a collar and is microchipped. She has also just come into season (has had a previous litter).
