- Great to hear this and hope she makes a full recovery....maybe a Long lead on walks from now on and take a look at a gps tracker if you can’t entertain a long lead ....in law we as dog owners must ensure dogs are contained at all times so it is our responsibility to ensure they are safe xx

- Can confirm it is definitely Wilma. She was almost all the way to Sheepscombe, running scared. A lady stopped and encouraged her into the car and she read my number off her collar. Wilma trusts women. good girl! She has some wounds from the attack but won't let me near them so will visit vet tomorrow and report to dog warden. Thanks to everyone who has helped to find her, whatever role seen or unseen. It means the world to know you are there. Such incredible support! Wilma certainly likes to keep you busy.

- 3pm Sunday Reports of people in area shouting the dogs name...please don't shout for her...as requested by owner and in all online posts this just needs quiet observation to spot her and report location by text to owner. Shouting her will simply spook her and drive her away..possibly onto roads. She will not respond to shouting..it will have the opposite effect and she potentially won't emerge from a hiding place. She ran towards Wickstead Farm..whose owners there aware but hard to place food there as farm has cats and dogs. There are a handful of private houses around the farm location so they may be a more likely safe place for her if they have gardens and outbuildings. There are small areas of woodland there which need searching quietly.

- She has a light blue collar on with her name and owner contact details on. She also had a small camouflage coat with a burgundy lining. Keep an eye out for this as she can easily slip both. She is a very little dog.

- Please look out under cars, in barns, sheds and anywhere covered, as well as in ditches, bushes etc. She will be hiding most likely and v nervous / in shock.

- Owner searched area yesterday afternoon, evening and all morning today. NO sightings. Postered and door knocked and talked to local walkers. Get the feeling she is shivering somewhere in hiding, injured and in shock. Last time she went missing (which was after a much less traumatic incident) she came back quickly and regularly to the original spot. With no sightings so far I fear the worst and that the injuries were severe.
