This is such awful news. Poor babies. It looks from the photos as if they were inseperable and were even together at the end. My thoughts are with you. Run free and play at Rainbow bridge together little ones xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Louise, I am so sorry that you never got your babies home. They are safe now, in the arms of God. I cannot imagine how you are feeling, but my thoughts are with you. To Those I Love and to Those Who Love Me Now I am gone, release me, let me go, I have so many things to see and do. You mustn't tie yourself to me in tears, be happy that we have had our years.I gave you my love, you can only guess, how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love that you have shown, but now it is time for me to travel on alone. So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted by trust. It's only for a while that we must part, so keep our memories within your heart. I will not be far away,  for life goes on, so if you listen with your heart you will hear, all of my love around soft and clear, and when you come this way alone, I will greet you with a smile and say, "WELCOME HOME".Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry to report that sadly Dino and Pebbles didn't make it home. Message from Louise:- Bad news I am afraid - Dino and Pebbles were found in the central reservation of the M11. They were seen going down the slip road on wednesday so probably died that first evening. Thank you for all your help and advice through this difficult time.  Very kind regards Louise. I am devastated to receive this ! Run free at the bridge and be safe now little ones x   Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken with owner and given appropriate advice re- postering and scenting. The area is very rural, and the village people are aware they are missing. Posters have been put up. These little monkeys are both wearing harnesses but no leads. Dino's is blue and Pebbles is red. They are both wearing collars with plastc tags with mobile number on. Just as well, as home number is currently out of order. Louise has notified the councils and spoken to the dog wardens re holding kennels etc, and has notified local vet. I have advised further vets need contacting in case they are picked up via a car and handed in further away. They will know their way home, and scent trailing will be done this evening, along their normal walks, and back to their home. Louise has been advised to be vigilant at break of day when they could be about hunting etc. She feels they are possibly still on an adventure, and could well be holed up in some warm undergrowth somewhere, feeling a bit frightened now. Stay safe Dino and Pebbles, until you are home xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
