- this dog was not claimed so the council instructed us to rehome him. We have arranged for him to go to a specialist rescue as he has specific needs due to his breed and size

- MissMarmite, you’ll know the breeds character then and how they need a very particular sort of home. The council DW or contractors will either send the dogs to rescue or rehome themselves depending on various factors. Your best bet is contacting the council and speaking to however deals with stray dogs, unless you’re a rescue though, I’m not convinced they’d allow you to home
the dog with a third party.
The dog could also be a Hungarian Kuvasz. Last edited: 2020-01-09 06:36:06 by Bo - 2020-01-09 04:42 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- hi im uk but rescue internationally. i've shared post to most of the most used groups for rescuers in-hope one may recognise him. These are not a common breed so hoping something comes of it soon. thought a dod like this being missing would've been reported instantly to be honest. if no one comes forward how can i go about putting myself forward to rehome him.
