Battersea Dogs Homeunicandy
Hi, just to let you guys know, the dogs that are on battersea web papes are dogs that have been in the home for a while. Stray/found dogs do not go on the website (due to false claims), only once they have been in the home for at least 7 days and have been assessed and are actually up for rehoming. So you need to CALL Battersea to report your dog missing as SBT types do make up 90% of the dogs here at the moment.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

cc, ignore my final comment - I'm going mad. The found female Staffie is blue and not tan & white.

cc, it's good to see that you've sent a photo of Jazz. She really is a very pretty girl with quite distinct markings which should make her very easy to recognise. Make sure you blitz the area where you think she might be as I suspect people will see your posters and start to put 2 and 2 together. Did you make contact with the dog wardens today? Let us know if you need any of the smaller posters done as hand-outs. Come on beautiful Jazz - show your sweet little face. Have you checked out the found female Staffie cross in today's Found section?

CC - Jazz is so pretty and sweet looking.on the loose. Someone may have taken her in. Surely she just cannot be still running around on her own. The dog warden may have picked her up or would have a report of her by now. Have you been calling the warden daily along with the rescue kennels? It is ESSENTIAL, as Jazz has no ID on her. Poster all around the areas she has been seen in pubs, shops, supermarkets, carry out food shops. Hope she is home soon. BEST WISHES. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jazz's owner - thanks for posting on Jazz's page. As mentioned when we spoke this afternoon, please send a photo of Jazz as soon as possible. Doglost can produce A4 sized posters as well as mini-posters (3 or 4 to an A4 page). As I said earlier, the mini-posters can be photocopied onto brightly coloured paper (orange always stands out well) and handed out to just about everyone: post men/women & post office sorting offices, mini cab offices, schools, milkmen, pubs, takeaways, under windscreens in supermarket car parks, all dog owners, etc. Just poster like mad and make Jazz the best known and 'hottest' girl in town. Good Luck!

Hi cc. Could you possibly get a photo of Jazz to us please as soon as possible. If you are unable to upload one yourself to the page, could you email it to admin@doglost.co.uk. It needs to be in jpeg format, and please include Jazz's name and postcode. We need the photo to make up a poster and also for cross matching with any found dogs that are similar. Thanks and good luck. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

cc, may we have picture of Jazz ASAP to admin@doglost.co.uk or call head office number to send in a photo by phone? Then a poster of Jazz with her photo on it can be downloaded by clicking on Poster 1 above and printed off for you to distribute everywhere possible.  Please inform the dog warden first thing on Monday. You will find them at your local council offices. Then call all the local rescue centres. You must call them every day to see if Jazz has been handed in. They may tell you they will contact you, but in my experience this does not always happen, and by law they can re-home your dog after 7 days if it is not reclaimed, and it has no ID on it.Good luck, and hope she is found soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
