Runfold-Eddie:
Jees, I wish I lived nearer girls.  I didn't know you lived near M'boro, Heather. No sightings at all, how strange.  She won't be far away.  Are the woods "keepered" ?      They do use snares although they're not supposed to. She wouldn't have been shot as a fox, would she?  Or found as a Sheltie?  Ed  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This is where she went missing from.
Like Heather says, needle in a haystack :-\

Just to update everyone with what we have been doing so far.Reported her missing with Stockton Borough Council, Hartlepool BC and Sedgefield / Co. Durham Councils.
Contacted by phone all 3 council kennels in those areas. Sent photo and missing description to local stray information bureau to print out posters.
The area North is private woodland and farmland and is checked daily by me with various dogs at all hours day and night.
Area also checked by gamekeeper at all hours. Local security of the site have her poster. (They are on constant mobile and foot patrol again 24/7). The Industrial estate to the west has had posters delivered to all business receptions who will display them. The industrial estate to the East is covered by the security chaps also.
To the South of A689 is Wynyard. The security there have her photo and poster and also have mobile and foot patrols 24/7 in all areas.
There is a Golf course there too. The clubhouse have her poster and have distributed it amongst staff (groundsmen and caddy’s as well as within the clubhouse and shop complex itself).
There are people to the far North of the area in farms who have either been given her details or posters and so coverage will be at least as far as Wingate to the North and Hartlepool to the NE.
Also Billingham where other dog club members are. (Also with personal knowledge of her).
Other club members will today be circulating her poster within Middlesbrough, in the hope that people going North to South through the County will be aware.
There is a poster in the local Post office.
There may have been more done that I can’t remember, but will poster some of the local vets in the evry near future, however I know that they check for tattoos on arrival.
Thanks for all the offers of help, but without a sighting it really is the needle in a haystack...

It would appear that your image upload facility is rather flakey and isn't cross browser compatible. I had to switch to IE to get it to work.

So sorry to see that Keeley is missing ! Its good that you have informed the dog warden but do keep ringing them to check so that Keeley stays to the front of their mind. It is also VITAL that you keep checking with your local stray kennels and please be aware that it has been found in the past that staff at some kennels do not have a very good knowledge of some breeds of dogs. Stray kennels only have to keep a dog for 7 days from when it was handed in to them after which time the dog can be rehomed or sent on to  rescue sometimes a distance from the where the dog was found. It is really important that you do keep checking with them and if possible call in to them in person to check she is'nt there and leave them a poster of her. Try and poster as much as you can locally and further afield and hopefully someone will come forward with a sighting of her.  Ask friends and family to put a poster in their rear side car windows .Good luck and I hope she is found very soon xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The area where she lives is quite isolated with a lot of surrounding woodland, but with a busy main road on one side (A689) and only a short distance from the even busier A19.
So far, there's been no sign of her at all.
Security at neighbouring factories, local farms and the post office at the local village have been informed and postered where possible.
Dog warden and police have also been informed.
Contact number for any sightings is (mobile) 07834320507 or 01740644138. This is for Heather who Keeley lives with.
