- Message from Kim :-
Thank you for e-mail back. He was found at Garswood train station. The dog warden had picked him up on Friday morning but when I rang up Friday night they said they didn?t have any dogs in so I worried all weekend. I rang again Monday morning and they said he had been taken to Leigh cats and dogs home.

- Meant to ask, is the Helpers email working only I usually get a email when a dog goes missing in my area but didn't this time. Just wondered if I'm still registered after the recent hacking???????Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Had a visit from my neighbours son (who's the boyfriend of Kim's sister) Rolo has been found at Leigh Dogs Home, Kim went to look as I and no doubt DogLost had advised that ringing sometimes isn't enough. He'd been there since Friday, he's safely at home now so that's all that matters for the little pupster. Welcome Home Rolo xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Kim, it's Marion who spoke to you last night. I've printed some of your posters off and will put some up this side of town. Have also informed dog walkers and loads of people to keep a eye out for him. Hope Rolo is home with you soon. xxx Am going into Ashton tomorrow morning, not sure if you've postered there, if not would you like me to do it.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Kim you need to poster widely immediately. Place them in plastic sleeves with the opening at the bottom. If Rolo has run off, there is a real good chance that he is still around the area he went from. Most dogs do come back to the place they last saw their owners. Find a safe place around that area and leave some of his bedding and clothing with your scent on, plus some smelly food such as tripe or pilchards. This will keep him in the area. Please try to return there yourself especially at break of day and early evening times when he will be wanting food and out and about. If he has run from home, leave bedding by the entrance, and a way for him to get back in. He may come back on his own. Hand out posters to dog walkers and anyone in that area and place posters everywhere even on your car. Good luck and hope to see him on the reunited pages soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Kim, so sorry your lovely Rolo has gone missing, but thank you for registering on Doglost and uploading the photos. He does look like a Lurcher Cross to me. Is that how you would describe him? We really do need to know the breed for the poster. A poster is available, and can be printed from your dogs page by selecting Dog Poster 1 . This will also be used by us and our helpers for cross matching any dogs that are found. Please notify all dog wardens, police , animal shelters and vets. Please also leave us a comment with exactly where your dog has gone missing from, and the circumstances. To leave comments you must be logged in and then once on your dogs page, click by the blue cross where it says add a comment. We will do all we can to help. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
