- I see you have retained this dog. Legally you can't chip or rehome for 28 days. Only 7 days applies if retained in kennels by authorities. Owner can claim at any time when a 28 day retainer is applied before or after. Thanks for taking care of this sweet dog.

- The finder has stated on a post that she is getting this dog chipped with her details as she said it’s been 7 days since finding. I’ve explained that if she has a 28 day retainer then she has to wait for the 28 days before doing so. The post was removed.
