I am really sorry for your loss, and I hope I am not stating the obvious here but I hope the Well is going to be filled in soon.  So was Holly stolen or did she manage to escape from the garden, just if you are going to get another small person after you have recovered from this awful tragedy, then it would be worth checking the garden for any means of escape.    I hope time will heal, and that you loved her so much and nothing can ever take that away.   Thinking of you

Hi  I've seen a 4mth old German Shepherd advertised on Gumtree for sale in Bradford.  Just might be worth owners looking at pic to double check !! Says was bought from a friend who was going to put to sleep. Click on the change cities option on left of page as it defaults straight to London areas  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Julie as posted below, I have already emailed new posters to you and ruthann today. You should have them in your in box. Will now also send them to Helen. Julie, poster all the pubs !  Heavily. And hand out flyers to all the customers. Ask the land lords to leave them on the tables, or put them in his menu's. Pub car parks, clubs, markets, and boot fairs are where dogs so frequently get sold on. You are doing a great job now, so keep it up. Someone knows something, and will spot Holly soon.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Julie that was fantastic. Saw you and your boys on Look North and you all looked so professional. Jolly good effort. You did amazingly well. I couldn't have done that. I do so hope this will jog someones memory or heart strings and they'll get in touch. Nicola thank you for that suggestion, I will email you a poster of Holly x Julie it looked like you have a better picture of Holly sitting down looking at the camera. Could that be emailed to me or to admin@doglost.co.uk along with Holly's name and postcode please.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Yes it is so sad Sarah. The people that take our dogs have no feelings at all. So many poor family's desperate to find their dog who is like a family member to them. Its so much worse with Julie's situation, as you say. Julie, please be sure to check the found pages on this site every day as Holly could be dumped off, or get loose anywhere. Also, do keep checking the pounds and rescues. Dont rely on them contacting you because they don't. Also contact the travellers liaison officers for all the councils. Tell them your story and try and ask  them to keep an eye when they are visiting sites. It would be good if you could get a poster to them so they can match any dogs they see. Good Luck  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This case has made me so sad, it is always awful to lose any dog but particularly when there is an autistic child involved. He must be missing her so much, I really feel for you all. Just wish I was closer so I could help. I know how my young son would be if his GSD went missing. Will be praying to see her in the blue very soon. God Bless.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to see Holly is missing, thanks for registering and putting her details on DL, great you have supplied photo’s. We will do all we can to help you in your search for her.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  You can print posters by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment just above other comments.  Great that she is CHIPPED ensure you inform them she is missing.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
