I have just called St Giles Kennels and apparently this little girl has been claimed by her owners.  Yay :-)  Sam x

Already checked on Saturday to see if the other black/white JRT was Rupert but this one in the dog warden's van was quite black with patches of white and quite tiny - sorry. Sam x

Give it a day or two and the other JRT will appear on St Giles Website as lost.  They are just the best at keeping their site updated.

hello sam, can you check that the other jrt's are not Rupert who is registered as lost on here please.a long shot and you probably have! but you never know.

This lady was medium to large and I see that Storm is small....but you never know!  Here's hoping!   I have just made some posters and will go and put a dozen up around the area where I found her, later this morning.  Sam x

Managed to sort photos out and now uploaded, thanks for supplying them Sammi, she has very distinctive body markings this will really help in reuniting her back with her family.  Fingers crossed her owners find her soon.  Jan x

This lovely lady was found by me wandering down South Street in Wells just before 1400 today.  She had a collar but no ID. A dog warden from Mendip Council eventually collected her at 1700 - she checked for a chip but no luck. In the 3 hours I had her, she was absolutely charming and didn't have a problem with any other dogs we met.  I walked her around Wells and down the street I found her knocking on doors and asking anyone if they recognised her - unfortunately not.  The dog warden was taking her (and 2 other JR Terriers found elsewhere) to St Giles Kennels near Taunton.  I have pictures on my phone if anyone wishes to contact me direct (couldn't upload them on here but can send them via mobile).  Hope she finds her owner - poor love.
