Sharing everywhere I can to get this poor dog home .

If a dog 'appears dumped' then they should be taken to a vets or dog warden called - she hasn't been handed in to either . . .
Police were happy to give a CRN
Coco
Hope she home soon....but says stolen. How does anyone say that decisively as she was left outside Primark store. She could have appeared dumped etc
DogLostreggiemollieros
ser I know she is chipped but suggest owner speaks to Animal Friends in Croydon and ask is they can put up a poster and the Vets there. I would also contact any PDSA and Blue Cross places as well as other local vets. Last edited: 2020-02-15 17:50:47 by reggiemollieros

Shiva has now been updated to Stolen upon receipt of CRN from Metropolitan Police Force
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
Confirmation has been received from orwner that Shiva was wearing a red harness
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
From below it seems that the dog found in Coleridge had an harness. Shiva was wearing a slip lead though. Can this please be checked and confirmed
A request has been made to Doglost admin to change her status from lost to stolen. Crime ref no provided which was obtained on the day she went missing.

The lady that posted on next door said “a dark colour staffie/pitbull type dog found on Coleridge Road just up from Stroud Green Way, CR0. The dog was wearing a back harness but had no collar. A young lady on that road was sheltering the dog in her car from the rain. She has called the police who had told her to contact the dog warden"

Today I was told by the owner that the girl could not keep her overnight and she didnt manage to get hold of the warden but I don not have more details but we are hoping it is Shiva and she is still atound that area.Last edited: 2020-02-13 17:13:03 by ser

Oh just seen that nobody took her? in that case it is a pretty long walk from Primark to Coleridge road, was she making her way home? There's a lovely park there, maybe its familiar to Shiva, what a nightmare, when they keep walking. Last edited: 2020-02-13 20:20:17 by candycat

Last sighting of Shiva last night at Coleridge Road, Croydon.

Apparently a girl found the dog and called police but she could not hold her overnight so she let her go.
Someone spoke to the girl last night while she was with the dog matching Shiva's description and posted this on Next door site.

Friends in the area now looking for her, please if you live locally keep your eyes open. If you see anything call the number on the poster any time/hour of day.

Admin, as owner has a CRN, should SHIVA now be listed as STOLEN please? Xx

From Eli on Dog Lost South London page " Shiva still missing and possibly still in Croydon area. Information about her been taken by a homeless lady and in Victoria area confirmed as wrong (the owner contacted DOTS). PLEASE KEEP LOOKING AND SHARING"
DogLostreggiemollieros
Thank you. I have deleted my tweets and told people just to look everywhere and that she may still be in Croydon.
ser
Hi reggiemollieros,i checked now and you are right. The owner contacted dogs on the streets and it appears it was a false allegation. The police has been updated and the owner is continuously looking in croydon area. I have not been made aware of any cctv yet.
DogLostreggiemollieros
Hi ser
I shared the information you have put on here on Twitter and Dogs on the Street have replied to my tweet saying it’s not true. Would you be able to clarify please? Has owner managed to get any CCTV? Thank you.
Will
CRN obtained by owner
DogLostreggiemollieros
It would be worth owner talking to Dogs
On the Streets https://www.dogsonthestreets.org/ and see if the people
thought to have Shiva turn up on Sunday at their mobile clinic near Charing Cross station. Also contact Street Vets who also cover parts of London although Battersea Lost
Dogs line may be able to talk to Street Vet for you as they are teaming up. Also contact Blue Cross Victoria and ask them to check if Shiva has been brought in to be seen there. You can also ask Doglost to send alerts to the Victoria area and West End. I take
It tne Victoria you refer to is SW1 and not a part of Croydon? Last edited: 2020-02-12 04:49:43 by reggiemollieros

Spoke to the owner earlier today, he got the following infirmation , that Shiva was taken by a homeless lady (blond and known as Michelle) and her boyfriend and that she hangs around Victoria area. He said that he reported this to the police and is now looking for her in that area.Last edited: 2020-02-11 20:12:02 by ser

Hi Monica, i understood the person spoke to the owner and the owner thought it was genuine.i will pass the comments, thank you
Monica - Area Volunteer, South London
Hi Ser it is important to establish if the sighting is genuine as often happens calls are made to bring owner off track. Does the owner have a telephone no of the caller? What questions have the owner asked to confirm report is genuine?
ser
The owner said she has been seen by somebody in Croydon area but couldnt hold her as she ran away scared. He is in that area trying to find her.

HelperSky's AngelsLouise
About an hour ago there was a post from Lost and Found Pets Northumberland of an elderly female staffie found in Newton by the Sea, friendly but no collar, the posts says "seems to have been inuured on her back legs or is struggling to use them because of her age". She is being taken to the vet in Alnwick.
