Thanks Lynn as discussed with you last night, I spoke to Sox's owner last night for quite a while.  Owner has found out that Sox has been sold on and chip details re-registered to new owner, she is possibly in the Derbyshire area.  Have given owner advice to contact DW and POLICE, if Sox was found and not reported to the DW it would be 'theft by finding' finder could not sell her!!    A found dog MUST be reported to the right authorities (Council/DW).  THIS IS LAW - unless you follow the correct procedures, the dog can NEVER be legally yours. If Sox was STOLEN and sold by the person who stole her then she is still stolen property.  Owner's said they will send a photo by email, but nothing has been received up to now.  Good luck and fingers crossed owner gets some results.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Soxsmum, I can see you have had problems registering Sox your other entries have now been deleted.  Can you check the details and if you need anything changing just let us know.  Is Sox 4 months or 4 years?  Your account has also been activated so you can post on site.  Good luck in finding Sox.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Soxsmum, sorry to see Sox is missing, thanks for registering and putting her details on DL, can you upload a photo/s or email one to admin@doglost.co.uk and problems with a photo let us know. We will do all we can to help you in your search for her.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  You can print posters once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment just above other comments.  Great that she is MICROCHIPPED do inform the CHIP Co that she is missing.  If she has been stolen you need a CRIME NUMBER from the Police.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
