Huge well done to all the volunteers. Owner reports that he was found in a bush just downhill from where he went missing and was grabbed by a searcher.

What about a microlight pilot - there is a microlight place at Quemerford Nr. Calne. Someone could go up with the pilot and search while keeping in touch with the searchers on the ground..

Social media's done, but to raise awareness amoungst those who don't use it, poster a 5 mile radius. Posters generate 50% of sighting reports.

Places with food smells to contact -
Pubs - Heddington, Rowde etc
Bakery - Haydens, Hopton Industrial Estate

Chewie was lost in a common dog walking area. It's not unusual for dogs to go missing there due to the gamebird rearing pens at the bottom (west side of the wood)

Home is Chirton, 6mi SE / 7.5mi by cross country lanes so it's possible he will make for home.

Can people in the villages en route be made aware -
Coate
Horton
Etchilhampton
Beechingstoke
Patney
Chirton

Searching -
Bottom, west side of Roundway Hill Covert.
He was lost near where there are tumuli, I don't recall seeing the one in the wood, so perhaps very shallow/eroded, a larger one is in the field east of the wood, but again I'm not aware of any entrance, but it's possible he may have got inside

Thermal imaging/infrared cameras - even better if on a drone
Snake camera for checking enclosed spaces
