In an instance such as this cats will usually find refuge in someone`s garden, and may hide in an outbuilding, They will also stay very quiet, an still, because they are feeling very scared. I would poter around the area where he was seen running into someone`s front garden, and post flyers through doors too. And knock on doors as well. When people are checking their sheds, garages, greenhouses etc, make sure you are present. And when searching use the same doeorant say that you use on a day to day basis as he will recognize the scent and it should give him comfort as your the one he trusts The best time to serch is either when darkness falls or early morning. And take with you his UWASHED blanket; some treats too or warm cnicken. Post in shops; post offices too. Hand out as many posters as you can; where and when you can. Contact vets in case he has been handed in. Sometimes a microchip can slip. I knew of one cat whose microchip actually fell out. Hope Mau will be found very soon. Paws xd.Last edited: 2020-02-19 20:11:12
