Sonny you little tinker. Stay home where you are safe and loved.
I have three standards one of whom is very cunning and will sneak off given any opportunity. Luckily I am wise to him now and take extra precautions.

From one dachsie house to another - Welcome Home little man...one of mine would bolt out the front door very quickly at any given opportunity (thankfully, not yet though) - they may be small but quick on their feet, I'm so pleased that Sonny's back home safe x

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.
