- Sadly Gus was never recovered. It’s thought he has likely passed in a covered quiet spot. We ground searched for weeks intensively using a grid covering 200m plus around home. There is water/small river close and dense forest to south. Sorry old boy 💔Last edited: 2021-07-16 00:33:06 by KatieF - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset

- I'll take Oscar over Stream way for a walk tomorrow morning and have a scout around. I'll also put posters up in Williton especially the Stream side of the village.

- I have met up with GUS’ owners and have helped ground search, in the immediate areas as best we cAn. No sign of him.
Still need posters out and a few further neighbours notified to help search their grounds. Keeping positive but the weather hasn’t been kind but if he’s had it in him to walk off a little further than they thought they will need eyes out further afield. Fast stream south of home is a concern but hoping he’s not strayed that way.
Could do with a drone to view field flats. Crops are short but there are longer patches which could hide a laying boy.
