Thank you for location clarification cc101. My apologies for any perceived time wasting in helping this dog too. I have sent the covering warden (24/7 hour service) an email with the information subsequently received from his finder and local community in relation to him.

To confirm. This animal is being well cared for at the vets until the dog warden can be spoken to. A message has been left with the dog warden. It is uninjured. Found and brought in by a member of the public who found the dog "near Arbor field near bull pub" in Reading in Berkshire.

Yes. The practice shut at 5pm and staff members stayed behind in their own time to try to sort this out. Dog is being well cared for. Put on here in case the owner tries looking for it. Practice opens again at 8.30 am on Sunday. Phones lines are automated ooh and cannot be left open. The out of hours provider had nothing to do with this and has no access to the practice so is irrelevant. Please do not waste their time in contacting them.Last edited: 2020-02-22 19:03:54 by cc101

Contacted listed vets who are now closed and their out of hours service have not been informed so unable to determine further details to confirm Reading, Berkshire location at this time - Wardens may be in contact, in due course.
