From Amber's FB page "*LATEST LEAD: LOST / STOLEN*. Amber was last seen outside Heals on Eden Street in Kingston upon Thames at 1.30pm on Friday 6th March 2020. A man handed Amber to a female passerby who said she had worked with the PDSA. Do you recognise this description: She was 30-40 years old, 5’3 tall with dark brown hair swept back and of multiracial appearance. She seemed to know about dogs and said she’d rename Amber to ‘Lady’. She is believed to live in Twickenham/ Teddington / Kingston areas or further. She said she had a garden. We desperately need to find her, she may know where Amber is. Do you have any information or have you seen her? If her description is familiar to you please call us and if this is you , and you are keeping Amber safe, please take her to your local vet urgently. Amber might look like a stray because she had no visible identification but she is microchipped and very much loved. All vets are ready for you drop her in. No questions asked. We miss her terribly. PLEASE CALL Anonymously on 0800 4 320 430 ref Amber or TEL: 07767118363 / www.lostdogamber.com / charmoll11@hotmail.com xx"

From owner on Dog Lost Surrey FB page "We have had (we think genuine) information as to Ambers whereabouts.
She was found by someone at the bus stop in Petersham Road who took her to Dukes Street bus stop in Kingston with him on the 65 bus as he couldn’t see the owners and didn’t want to leave her.
From there a youngish woman in her 30’s claiming to be from the PDSA said she would take Amber and return her.
The search is now on in Kingston and surrounds."

Sadly the sighting was a false alarm from owner "Sadly the sighting was confused
Nobody’s fault a kind neighbor with a similar dog was looking for amber and went into pier one at the same time
Back to square one!"
DogLostJulie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
From owner on Dog Lost Surrey page "We have a positive sighting of Amber last night at the pier one fish and chip shop on Petersham Road
A “nice” Spanish man had found her and put her on a lead and was asking in the shop around 10.30pm whether anyone had been in looking for her
We assume this man is local. If anyone has come across him pls let us know x"

So sorry Amber is missing. Was she last seen on the pavement or could she have made her way to the towpath? Worth asking boat owners. I will tweet to local folk and hope she is found safely soon x
Marbie
