This is wonderful, wonderful news! I had been so worried about Roddy, especially as he went off with his lead still attached. What lovely people the finders were -  to make sure that he was secure before going for help. I'm absolutely delighted for his owners. Welcome home Roddy and make the most of all the extra fuss, food and TLC!!!

DogLostAunt Stef - Area Volunteer, West London
RODDY IS HOME !! Someone had found him in a valley & tied him to a fence so that they could go & ring the RSPCA(number was on his tag). In the mean time someone else had heard wimpering  coming from this valley & remembered  seeing a poster so called owners on missing poster to check out the area. Once owner got there he saw two little ears pop up above a hedge ,climbed over & there was Roddy !! Roddy had been out for two very cold nights he has lost some weight & is very scratched where he has obviously been running through brambles etc but he's home & being fed up to get his weight back to normal. The RSPCA rang just as the owner was returning with Roddy. So a big well done to everyone concerned. Welcome home Roddy. SxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
