Various size posters also emailed to Co-ordinators Angelita and Jaspbenswood yesterday (if you have not received them let me know). Will call into Halewood RSPCA after work and check for Eddi and other local dogs which have come onto DL today.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

May or may not be connected but local forums report a grey thin lurcher being wlaked by a woman with another dog yesterday on Railway Walk towards Birkdale Village. Owner can you poster pet shop/ shops/bus stops/ station at Birkdale? Another report of a "medium size grey dog, unsure of breed, looked young, agitated state on Formby Bypass 10.30 today, ran towards Ainsdale". Can owner/ helpers please poster Ainsdale beach/Pontins/ Sands Hotel/village/bus stops/lake / wildlife info centre/dog walk entrance at back of Pontins? Beach Patrol/ Park Rangers also need to be informed. Once we have a sighting owner needs to follow scenting instructions and plot sightings.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi owner, it was me that rang you, I gave his details to Halewood RSPCA as they were here on Friday. As I said you need to get posters up everywhere- vets, pet shops, taxi firms, ask milkmen, binmen, postmen, give a poster to the sorting office, town centre shops, cafes, pubs, tourist office, market, McDonalds, FAACE on Shakespeare Street,Pet Warehouse, groomers, dog walking areas- Benthams Way, Portland Fields, Botanic Gardens, Hesketh Park,Weld Road, Ainsdale, Formby, Freshfields. Put article in Visiter & Champion. He is on local forums, hoping for good news soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for registering and updating us.  Will update his details now and also the posters and re-send to you.  I'll try Halewood RSPCA again tomorrow and also email them a poster along with other local rescues.  We cannot stress enough the importance of the posters as we discussed.  Good luck.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you for all your support it is brilliant. Poor Eddi came to me about 18 months ago. He came from a bad life and has taken much time to get him right. We had a delivery on this night an as usual  Edd came the gate he never wanders so i thought no more. When i had finished I thought he had gone to bed (Edd the Bed) but then I realized the worst he was not home. He has no road sense and never is alone he is a dog that will not settle easily. This is what worries me.  Please help,  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to Eddie's owner, he is still missing.  Owner is going to register and update us.  His chip details are still registered to his previous owner, Eddie's owners are trying to get in touch with them to change the details with the Chip Co.  Have now sent an A4 poster and smaller posters with further information to owner.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Vicki, I have not done usual posters for Eddie yet until it is confirmed he is still missing, I guess you are referring to the other missing North dogs which posters have been done for.  I have tried to contact his owner and left a voicemail message to ring back on my landline as mobile phone signal is no good at home.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for doing the smaller posters Jan. I may see if I can persuade my Dad for a drive out over the weekend to Southport as Eddie is scarily like Woody - I thought I was looking at a photo of my own dog for a minute! In the meantime good luck with the search and please keep us updated Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to see Eddie is missing, thanks for putting his details on DL, could photo/s please be emailed to admin@doglost or they can be sent by mobile phone, any problems let us know . We will do all we can to help you in your search.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  You can print posters once a photo has been uploaded by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment just above other comments.   Great that he is CHIPPED do update his details with the CHIP Co.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
