- Thanks janiejewel…….anyone in the area know of a sniffer dog
- 2020-04-14 16:23 Unknown
- I don`t think any of whst you have mentioned is exempt, as far as I know. Police are using drones to stop too many people gathering. A single perosn who may own a sniffer dog in the area maybe able to help find Duke Paws xd.

- I know we are in lockdown but are drone flyers, hors riders, stables and cyclists exempt, so hoping they could help keep their eyes open. Also taxi drivers, supermarket delivery drivers, postmen and council rubbish collectors

- I've had setters all my life and even if of the more energetic/boisterous/noisier persuasions who always answer to call they can go silent when in a fix. I have experience of this more than once. Its such a hard time to have lost a dog. Take care.

- Sorry you are going through this, I don’t know if this advice will help you but when I helped look for a friends dog who ran after a Hare and got injured she never cried or barked to let us know she was there she went into survival mode and was missing for 10 days, eventually she was found alive stuck in a ditch close to home, even though we had lots of people looking we were listening for her to bark and kept searched further away when we heard nothing, he could be injured so look in hedges, ditches, fences any rough ground where he could hide. My heart goes out to you and your beautiful boy and pray he is found soon. XxLast edited: 2020-04-13 21:58:15 by Annasetter

- Spoke to owner today. Duke went off with the patterdale at 4pm. patterdale came home 8pm but no Duke. Local keepers aware. Advised re posters on footpaths and bridleways as very rural area but people are still out and about.

- Duke will likely chew through his lead and harness, if he gets caught up Caroline - we had a Chihuahua do just that a few weeks ago.Last edited: 2020-04-09 13:00:57 by Administrator

Worried as he may have got caught up on something as he had a lead on. I have just walked the whole area of stonesfield common. Nothing he disappeared at 4pm yesterday - 2020-04-09 11:36 cJ

- Naughty Duke!
The wind looks like it was from the east if, after the initial bolt, he went after scents. It's also the direction of the River Evenlode which is attractive, both for scents and for water.
