A deceased English bull terrier been found half buried close to footpath by Leicestershire and Rutland Equastrian.. They have a page on facebook.. And have posted a few photos of this boy... PLEASE CHECK IT OUT... The post says no chip, not tattoo, no tag... But I've read up that tattoos can fade.. He has patch on left eye... Hope someone looks into this ASAP..

Gill ,as you say ,as Spike will now be a year old, there's no knowing at the moment, how he will look. Now the dog warden has been contacted hopefully they will check for a tattoo which might have been missed. Everything crossed here. Speak soon. Steph.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thanks Stef I have checked picture but as Spike was only 6 months old when stolen it is impossible to know what he would look like now that he is almost one year old.  I feel this needs checking and have e-mailed dog warden at east lindsey to ask if found bully has a tattoo.  I'll call him as well. Fingers crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spike's owner ,I have left a message on your ans phone about a EBT Male on the FOUND dog page for Lindsey District Council. The eye patch is on the wrong side for Spike but sometimes photos get inverted so might be worth checking this out just in case. Fingers crossed. Link to website:  http://www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/environment/dogs/lost_dogs/Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We miss Spike , who is a standard English Bull Terrier pup, very much.  At first we thought he was still kept locally but enquiries so far have not led to anything.  It is very possible that he was sold on out of the area.  He is very distinctive with a large black eye patch and tattooed ear.  He is very much loved and we offer a generous reward for his safe return.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
