Millys Mum. Cats are extremely supple. And have very flexible spines, which rotates, so a cat may be trying to scratch near the collar area when they get their paws stuck in their collars. And collars maybe too loose. Last edited: 2020-04-12 21:08:15

Great news that Betty has managed to get herself home. We used to have a cat that used to manage to get her leg though her collar. Never worked out how it happened. But just so happy for Betty’s family. Welcome home pretty girl xx

Fab,. news. So pleased. Betty was pronbably sunbathing on the garage roof. I used to own a cat that used to do the same by climbing up the drainpipe. Sady she passed away in 2017 at the age of about 19. But this has brought back happy memories as she was also the image of Betty. Stay close now gorgeous Betty:-) xxx

Also is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they wil chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat won`t retun until they think it`s "Safe' enough for them to do so. When serching for Betty, wear the same doedorant say that you use on a day to day basis as she will recognize the scent. And your the one she trusts. Paws xd. Last edited: 2020-04-12 07:37:54

Check ALL outbuildings, including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within espeially if timid. And they can stay very still, amd quiet. They are renowned for it. Check trees; any decking too. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they are able to squeeze into very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide 7/7,5cm) So has she managed to climb ino a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exit can be difficult; depends on the drop. Put some tuna/sardines or warm chicken in her dish, and call her; early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as her scent will be there; litter tray contents too. DO NOT leave the litter tray/box outside as other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Wipe her scent on your garden fence, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Take a walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone maybe feeing her, (Common problem). when it`s nightfall, and searching, . use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster aroud the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case she has climbed into a vehicle. Paws xd. Last edited: 2020-04-12 07:43:06
