- Fantastic news. Elated for owners. Stay close now HUGO:-) xxx I wish people would get their own cat, and leave other people`s pets alone; plus cat napping is theft. Thanks Patlucky, I thought that might be the caseLast edited: 2021-02-08 18:02:05

- Hugo was missing 9 months.
Stolen and kept in by people near by knowing who owned the cat.
The cat was very matted on his back and has had his back shaved.
There are many of these cat hoarders about.
How could anyone knowing who the cat belongs keep it .
So cruel and the cat is now very very happy at home.
The owner has sent me some lovely photo's. - 2020-05-20 18:14 Unknown

- If possoible at this difficult time you could try to get hold of a cat trap. Place the trap in a sheltered spot, and plae inside an object wtih his scent on. Ideal time to search is night/early morning, taking with you a strong torch as the ligh will reflect a cats eyes. As it will be quieter he is more likely to come of hiding. Check all outbuildings too. All xd.

- Housecats tnat go missing will feel very anxious being out of their comfort zone which is in their own homes with people they trust; their owners. They will sometimes hide close by, or have advemtures in a neigbours garden. A door he has access to, open wide, and stand aside. Don`t block his entrance or he may see it as a "Threat" and run off again . Put some tuna/sardines or warm chicken in his dish, and place it about twice the width of the open door. Place his UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave it about twice the width of the open door. Empty litter tray contents onto the garden as his scent will be there. But DON`T leave his litter box/tray outside as other cats may use it, and it could upset, and confuse the cat. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. when searching for him use the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis as he will reognize the scent. And your the one he trusts. Try a squaky toy as it should attract his attention. It could also be that someone is feeding him, thinking he is a stray. Hope this gorgeous boy is home very soon. It is all about scent. And cats can smell from quite a distance away. Paws xd.Last edited: 2020-04-13 10:56:10
