Confirmed to be Muntjac deer (not a dog) by the Canal & River Trust Recovery Team whom have been supplied with the eye witness’ photograph to corroborate this.

Following up with Street Care Team, this matter has been passed to the Canal and River Trust. I have left a voicemail message and sent an online enquiry to the London and South East region.

Thank you Louise, I have had a quick look at ID 155289 and unsure if water ways link the distance of one hundred miles and unsure this a colour match with red markings but will find out what I can.

In touch with finder's Mum. I have a photo and listed with authorisation from DogLost Head Office and possible breed ID this may be an English Springer Spaniel.

Police, Warden and West Berkshire Waste Collection services (Ref 7638142) have been informed.
