"FOUND - Thank you all for sharing, the power of Facebook brought him home. Noodle is back after being found in Tidworth and spending a few hours with a lovely family in Amesbury. Think he’s had a great day!"Last edited: 2020-04-23 11:18:27 by Administrator

Hi Annie

What's your home postcode and does he know the way back ?

What happened and what was his behaviour like ? scared/exploring/chasing/happy

Has this happened before ?

Confidence/interest level around dogs/humans/generally ?

How well does he know the area, the location he was last seen, the way back home ?

Does he have any dog friends ?

If Noodle knows his way home or his home is within 5 miles, then many dogs will return home if they're not scared by people they encounter. This commonly occurs during the early hours of the morning. To cover this possibility, hang out unwashed clothes from the person he’s most bonded with to create a scent trail to guide him home, along with his bedding for comfort, food and water, and allow access to the property.

If you haven’t already, please notify -
