He's the first Patterdale X I've seen with eyebrows!  Maybe a Patterdale x Scottie - in any case well done to STECS for still caring and I do hope this dignified elderly man finds a loving home very soon. At least we know there's one waiting with STECS.  Well done Badger. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Scottie Rescue (STECS) area coordinator for Essex has been in touch with the kennels holding this dog to be told he is an elderly Patterdale X.  In spite of this, help was still offered by the coordinator, and was told they would get in touch if necessary.  I so hope this lovely old lad gets a loving home very soon at this time in his life.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Well done Badger for noticing this - as soon as I saw him just now I thought Is that a Scottie?  What a lovely boy, I do hope he finds a new, loving home.  Good luck. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jotty - or anyone else who can help please - I am trying on behalf of Scottie Rescue (STECS) to establish whether this little chap could possibly be a Scottie X, in which case we could help him.  Is it known what type of X he may be (Scotties often have grey beards and eyebrows at a young age), how tall is he (difficult to tell from photo), and please do you have contact details of the holding kennels where he is.  From the info already logged he was found on 23 Oct so his 7 days are up tomorrow, so we need this additional info urgently.  Many thanks.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
