Lisa P..If I see any posts I am asking them to remove and one lady has done that already..But there are a lot on a group called Banburyshire info and I have not been accepted to that yet, it if anyone on there, maybe you can ask the person posting to remove the said content.

We are aware of information circulating on social media. The Police already have this information & circulating it could jeopardise the investigation & recovery of Bentley so we would ask that this isn't further circulated please x

I have checked local social media and the owner seems to have pretty much got that sorted. I have friends in that area, so will ask them to keep a look-out.

I would suggest that the owner gets posters up around the area and in shop windows to make this dog too hot to handle if it is still in the area.

Hi Claret...Thank you for your comment...In our experience opportunists ( as in this case) usually want money quickly for their habits and as such usually sell the dog on immediately for a paltry sum...I am sure Bentley is local..and probably with unsuspecting people...please share on SM as sure some one local has noticed a new dog in a neighbours back garden...Also could I ask you to print off a poster and leave on your doorway for your postman? They see everything! Thank you.

A witness has come forward who saw Bentley being taken away by a male, around 25 years old with bleached blonde long hair, mohican/ponytail style & we would urge that person to come forward, he was seen checking the tag which does have owners contact details x

CRN issued, status changed to stolen & CRN detail added x
Claret
I will keep an eye out for him, but under the circumstances, he was possibly stolen to sell on, so will be kept under wraps until the fuss dies down.

A reminder to us all not to leave dogs tied up outside shops... or anywhere.
