- The problem has been that as soon as she sees anyone she turns round and goes away. There is a lady who lives just up above where we placed the trap and the farmer who's field it is are helping us to keep an eye on it as well as this we have been checking it. The lady has just phoned us up this morning saying the dog is in the cage so fingers crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- She is not likely to recognise or respond to being called after this length of time out. This is quite normal behaviour. I would suggest that when she is next seen. Crouch or lay down and whimper, curiosity usually gets the better of them and they approach. Have some food/treats in your hand and try to avoid eye contact. If a trap is being set I hope it is manned. Hope she is home soon...judy

- Update - We managed to see her yesterday Nov 17th after a sighting at the same place the day before nr collards lane elham in the fields there. She had her back to us and trotted away and didn't respond to calls. She may be having epileptic seizures and perhaps they are affecting her. We checked there as we left a cage trap in order to catch her with food in as the day before she was seen there where there is a dead sheep. Unfortunately the trap had been set off but maybe she will come back.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Copied from circumstances box: Escaped on the morning of the 31st october. She is a shy dog that will most likely stick to rural areas. Has epilepsy.Update: Has been spotted near Palm Tree Inn on left hand side of road coming out of Barham in fields on 2nd nov at 2:40pm unable to catch. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Katie sorry to see Emma is missing, thanks for registering and putting her details on DL, great you have supplied a photo. We will do all we can to help you in your search for her. You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible. Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). Great that she is CHIPPED please ensure the Chip Co know and her details are up to date and update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering. She may well return to where she went missing from, if there is a gate leave it open and some items of clothing and food such as pilchards. Good luck and hope she is found soon.
