It is with sad regret that poor Taffy's body has been found washed up at the beach this morning not far from where he went missing.  Deepest thoughts are with his family, run free at the bridge Taff you lovely boy and sweet dreams.  Jan x

Hi, I live in Moreton and walk down at the shore every day, I have been looking for him, noticed that posters are already up down there. If there are any sightings anywhere that need following up, give me a shout and I will help look.  I have seen Pam walking him and know what he looks like.

oh my poor boy!!!!   this lad used to be called Merc while at freshfields!!!  i was slightly obsessed with him.  Will be passing word on to everyone i know over that way and if not back by wed will come over and go hunting!!!

Hi, it's Pam who walks Taffy. Didn't realise you'd already put Taffy on this site, I put his details on but Jan rang me to say you had already put him on. I have made posters and put them around Moreton, Meols, Hoylake, West Kirby, Larton and Wallasey today. Sorry, didn't mean to take over the search but didn't realise you had been doing the same things.

Have just spoken to Taffy's walker, who was also registering his details on DL, have replaced the poster photo with one they had supplied as it is a very good full shot of him, have cropped it and brought closer.  Discussed things to do and will be sending posters to his walker who is doing a brilliant job searching for him.  Jan x Posters emailed to North Co-ordinators, Local Rescues and local registered helpers.

A4 poster and smaller posters with both photos on and further advice emailed to Philip.  Good luck hope they help in the search for Taffy and you get good news soon, especially after the weekend.  Jan x If anyone is able to help with the postering etc please let us know and we can email posters to you.

Taffy was being walked by a walker on Moreton Beach.  Carer and owner have contacted the right authorities and will also contact them tomorrow.  Will send further info and usual posters a.s.a.p.  Jan x

Have spoken to owner who is out at the moment he is going to ring back when he gets home, Taffy was out on a walk and got spooked by fireworks.  Jan x

Philip, sorry to see Taffy is missing and thanks for registering him and uploading lovely photos (I have reloaded them to bring him closer), we will do all we can to help you in your search for him.  Can we have the circumstances on how he has gone missing?  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering, you can add a comment by selecting  Add a comment just above comments.  Great that he is CHIPPED please do ensure the Chip Co have been informed and his details are up to date.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan
