  • Other Info Golden Retriever & Afghan hound, both females, taken whilst tied up outside Whole Foods. Dogs were on leads when last seen by witnesses at the traffic lights near Sainsbury’s Stamford Hill at the intersection. There is an active Police investigation, both dogs are microchipped with a STOLEN alert on their records

I'm very very glad that these two dogs have been returned but please don't leave dogs unattended anywhere, especially tied up outside a shop, it only takes a minute to untie and walk off with them. If you're in a shop you can't always see them out of the corner of your eye. Apologies if this offends

The woman was 40s, thin, wearing a lot of purple from what I remember, and wearing either slippers or very light footwear. Mousey brown hair. The man was not with the dogs. He was just outside whole foods minding his own business and scuttled off when approached by the woman.

I saw this happen! Or just before! I was in the green grocer across the road at 815am, and saw a woman approaching the dogs. She was clearly drunk, and she asked a guy whether the dogs were his. I just assumed she was petting them. Then I got on my bike, and cycled off.

email from owner...The dogs were seen a few hours ago near Sainsbury’s Stamford Hill near the traffic lights at the high street. They were stolen by a white older drunkard with shoulder length brown hair.
