Superb postering, thank you !
Due to possibe sightings, can we raise awareness, flyer smallholdings and farms and poster footpath junctions between Marston, Great Cheverell and Potterne please ?
No intensive searching please - we want her to feel safe - just be on the lookout and ignore and withdraw if seen.
Pixie will now be semi-feral, so the only people likely to catch her are her owners with their other dog.Last edited: 2020-05-31 21:22:05 by Administrator

Taken from Facebook.

Pixie, a white & black female Pointer cross went missing on a walk near Urchfont, Devizes on Friday 22nd May 2020

We are in need of a search group, to help us search the area Pixie went missing from.

The area is quite dense with brambles and nettles and tricky to walk.

Searchers will need to be well equipped, with good shoes, long-sleeved tops, trousers and plenty of water/fluids, sun hats and sun cream.

If you could bring a long pole e.g - a mop handle, gardening gloves and secateurs.

STRICTLY NO CHILDREN - due to the terrain and we will be covering areas near the train lines.

Please do not bring your dogs. We are right next to the train line.

WE WILL CONFIRM EXACT MEETING POINT SOON!

Thank you for your support.

POSTCODE - SN104SB then Follow the dusty track along. You will see us! MAP ON THIS PAGE. https://facebook.com/events/s/pixie-search/2861044797278467/?ti=cl

Specific advice sent. Pixie appears to have been lost in woodland next to the railway, so it's vital that she isn't panicked, so if she doesn't approach with relaxed, loose body language, please DO NOT CALL, CHASE or try to CATCH – instead, IGNORE AND WITHDRAW and contact Tom her owner.

Please could you raise awareness/poster in a 5 mile radius.Last edited: 2020-05-24 07:44:29 by Administrator

Sorry to see that PIXIE is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (156963)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
