- Craggies owner rang this morning and is SO relieved to have her home and so gratedul for all the support and advice she got from DL!. Its strange, that one out of the three terriers missing from Craggies village last year turned up not far from where Craggie was found. Craggie is off to the vets today for a chip. She was found in good condition and clean. Welcome home girl. Stay close in future xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- hello I am very pleased to say i am the dog warden who put two and two together with craggie. craggie was found in tytherington, south glos and i had a feeling it was her when i saw her, i called owner and left message and then got craggie next to the computer, she looked very similar, but it was when i called her name that i was pretty sure it was craggie. I had gone home when the owner turned up but the kennels rang me and said it was definately her. Its nice things like this that make up for all the horrid things we see in this job! My only worry is that we have a dog thief in the area, if someone had genuinely bought craggie then we would have had a call to say she was missing from her most recent home, we haven't..........we also had a lurcher stolen from that area about 5 months ago that turned up in heathrow........i will be keeping a close eye on tyhterington!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Craggie is BACK!!!! She was picked up last night and taken in to the local kennels under the Dog Wardens care. This particular DW is a true gem, and a very active member of Dog Lost. The DW searched the DL site and found a possible match with Craggie........she called Craggies name and the response was instant! Owner has confirmed its her, and (hopefully by now) has collected Craggie. This FABULOUS result has come about because the owner bothered to register her dog with DL, and the DW took the time to search the site...........however it has to be said that a microchip could have meant that all the days of heartache could have been avoided. No doubt Craggie will be first in the vets queue for a microchip tomorrow morning. Thank you DW, champion of Dogs!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
