So very pleased to see a happy ending for this little darling, cant believe her owners would not take her back at her advanced age! Thanks so much Sue for giving her a home. I am sure she will give you loads of love in return and will not want to escape again! Sounds as though there was a reason why she kept running awayLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for the call last night Sue- so pleased this has a very happy ending. Dont forget to get the old owners to sign her over ( as per instructions) that way you can rest asured they will not change their minds. im so glad she wqas found by your family- at 15 if she had ended up in kennels i dont think the ending would have been quite so rosie. Im pretty sure Sally is a patterdale and my old patterdale lived to the ripe old age of seventeen and a half.Im sure she will only give back as much love that she will have .  janeLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The little dogs owners were located today, apparently the dog is called sally and shes 15 years old. She ran away on friday 31st. The owners decided that they no longer wanted the dog as she keeps running away and their having building work done.........priceless!! Still their loss is our gain and we are keeping "sally" , who is a welcome addition to our family. I would like to thank Jane, (a.c. southeast ) and everyone else involved for their help and advice.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have been talking with baileysowner who between herself and daughter will be looking after this little one while owners are sought. they have put up posters -alerted local vets and I will email the dog warden although it is on records at the council as reported over the weeknd. Dog has been scanned but no chip found. there was a collar- details being held for ID purposes but no name tag.I will ask for a message to go out on Kent police systems tomorrow. Cant be sure but recon this could be a patterdale or patterdale cross.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
