Update 11/06 (from Cami's group)
💚THANK YOU to everyone in the community who has followed the advice to not try and catch Cami and calling in with sightings rather than posting them on social media -THIS IS WORKING and overnight she had done what we expected her to do and hoped she would do if she was left alone to make that decision.
Cami has had a tough start in life and was found after an RTA in Romania and was kindly taken to the vets where it was thought she had sustained significant neurological damage and she also has been shot multiple times. Her experiences in life mean SHE CANNOT BE APPROACHED OR CHASED.
🐾Please be assured, the team are doing what is needed to get Cami safe, this is a process which cannot be rushed or forced, we have to work with Cami and not force her into a situation which she does not want her to be in - which can cause her to run, potentially into danger as she is crossing the roads. She is not going without food or water and the team are tracking her.
IF YOU SEE HER:
❌DO NOT CHASE, CALL OR TRY TO CATCH HER
✅IGNORE her (if she is in danger on the road please 'shoo' her off gently but do not follow her
✅Call or message the page with the location and time
You help keep her safe and you can help get her safe.
THANK YOU

From Cami's facebook group..... Update 10/06 -
💚THANK YOU to everyone in the community who has followed the advice to not try and catch Cami and calling in with sightings rather than posting them on social media -THIS IS WORKING and she is becoming settled and is happy in 'her area'. The team working to get her safe can work with a dog who is settled, not with a dog who is running and being chased.

Thank you to everybody that is looking out for Cami, please if you do see her do not post her location on social media as we do not want people going out searching for her, she is very close to home and quite settled in the area, plans are in place and we don't want her spooked as this will make her move away from "her area" however if you do see her please either contact her owner by text or message Cami's page...details below...

From Cami's facebook group....
Cami’s location is known and a team have been tracking her today. It’s hoped she will make er own way back home. This happens 9/10 times with a dog such as Cami BUT this will open happen if she is left alone as her area isn’t disturbed.
She has shown herself not to be a runner and has slowly made her way towards home throughout the day, if she is disturbed, called, followed, chased - she WILL RUN. If this happens, she may run into danger on the roads or run miles to safety and she really will become ‘lost’.
🟢CAMI NEEDS YOUR HELP
> Please do not search for her purposefully
> If you are out walking and see her, note the time and location, walk away and call the numbers
We are aware the area is very busy which is posing a great risk to her.

Cami has been seen in the area and plans are in place to catch her, please can I ask that you do not actively search for her as she needs to settle in one place, if you do see her please ignore her and contact the owner immediately x
