So pleased to hear that Totty is making slow but steady progress.  I'm sure all the TLC she is getting will help, along with everyone's best wishes from this site.  Love and hugs to you dear Totty.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Update on Totty. It seems that the future for Totty may be better than first expected and it sounds like her injuries are not going to hold her back!!   Message received:   Totty was very relieved to be back home and so was my mum who's dog she is.   When she came back she was totaly paralised from mid way along her back, however we have slowly noticed improvements, she has control of both her toileting functions and her left leg is much stronger now,and is slowly regaining strength. Her right leg is not what it should be yet but better than it initially was.   We visit the vets with her regularly and she is on anti inflamitory medication( I think) she is in no pain at all!   The opinion is she may have a ruptured disc, which just needs time to heal. We don't care though she is back and that is all that matters, she can get about although we restrict her movements as much as possible.   Should the worst come to the worst  and there is no further improvement from now on we will get her some wheels.   Many thanks for your concern  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
