- Check ALL outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars, THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within especially if timid. Check trees; any deckings too. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can squeexze into very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide (7/7,5) So has she managed to climb into a partially opoened window, and is now trapped, Exiting can be more difficult. Put some tuna/sdardines, or warm chicken in her dish and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats, just because you don`t see e cat it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Place her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; UNWASHED towels too. Take a good walk around the area holding an object with his scent, and rattle some Deamies. Someone maybe feeding L, (Common problem) When it`s nightfall, and you are searching, use a stron torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Poster aroun the aream and post flyers through doors too; post in shops; post offices too, if you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case Lucy has climbed into a vehicle which isn`t uncommon for cats to do. Also is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s ownm territory, however the chased cat will not usually return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Ask family, friends, and neigbours to share as well as DL, Twitter too. Hope Lucy will be found very soon. Paws xd.
