Hilary - Sorry Archie is missing. If he has run from home, hopefully he will find his way back, maybe during the night when its quiet, or very early in the morning as it gets light. Leave the gate open, or a way in, and place something with your scent by the gate, and also leave some of his bedding in a safe place with some smelly food. Notify all neighbours and ask to check gardens for sheds, ponds, and any other danger zones. I think he will be holed up somewhere until he's sure its safe. If he has gone missing away from home, flood the area with posters, and try to return there as it gets light in the morning. Hand out posters to everyone you see. Notify Dog wardens, Police, animal shelters, and vets immediately. I hope he is found tomorrow. Good Luck  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
