Check any outnuildings THORIOUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within especially if timd. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines, so they can sqeeze into very small spaces (about 2"/3" wide (7/7.5cm) So has he managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be more diffucut. Check trees; any deckings too. Put some tuna/sardines, or chicken in his dish, and call him; cats do recognize their owners voices. Just because you can`t see a cat it doesn`t mean they are aren`t around. Place his UNWASHWED blanket into a clean container, along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot,or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Take a good wealk around the area, holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some Drreamies. Someone maybe feeding him (Common problem) When it`s nightfall, and you are searching for Pancho, take with you a strong torch as the light will refect a cats eyes; an UNWASHED blanket of his too. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops; post offices too if you can. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle, which isn`t uncommon for cats to do. A|so is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes a cat will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory, however the chased cat will not usually return until they think it`s "safe" enough for them to do so., unless they become lost, and disorientated. And ask famiky, friends, and neighbours to share as well as well as DL. Twuitter too, Paws xd.Last edited: 2020-06-16 20:45:56
