BRILLIANT UPDATE by DEMI on CHILLIE’s fb page:
Chillie update
Wow where do I even begin, as most of you know Chillie ran away during a thunderstorm after our back gate wasn't closed properly (will never happen again) we instantly went out looking and sharing on social media, posters where put up the day after, but after 5 days of not hearing a thing, not even a sighting I decided to make this page. Boy am I glad I did, the amount of shares, comments, inboxes and likes have been mind blowing and I absolutely can not thank you all enough without you where would chillie be now?
So today I received a call from Chantelle Clark, who was very good at describing everything, listened to me when I asked for her not to shout chillie and to tread very lightly, chantelle also called the wirral dog warden for assistance, special thanks to them for helping with water, towels and lead.
Once me and my husband arrived everyone backed off to give us a chance to get our Scent around the area she was trapped, we took her blanket with us and dragged it all around the grounds she was trapped on, unfortunately chillie was so terrified she kept backing off and even ran back on to the train track
On our 4th attempt we trailed food towards us and she took it, my husband had water at his feet but she was still wary, I put my arms through the metal fences and called her name softly as soon as she caught our Scent it clicked she was safe. I grabbed her coller and balled my eye out. Sorry Laura for the hysterical phone call
Vets said all chillies injuries are superficial, shes cut, shes bruised but she's allowed to stay at home. Antibiotics, steroids, eye drops and lots of cuddles and she will be back to her old self.
I want to take this opportunity to say thank you so much to Laura Finnegan and Kellie O'Shea, for the constant check ins, endless advice and Laura for our phone calls without you she simply wouldn't be with us now, weather you where on the side lines or not I can't thank you enough for all your help and support yous really are hero's.
Thank you chantelle for making that important call without you being so vigilant we wouldnt have her here now.
Thank you Karen Smith for all the help with printing posters and even dropping the kids some sweets, checking in everyday with us offering endless support.
Jan Major you have been wonderful constantly sharing, updating posters and guiding me in the right direction for extra support thank you so much.
All my family who have helped I am so pleased to call you family thank you.
And everyone who has shared, commented, liked and Inboxed me with offers of help, putting posters up absolutely everything. If it wasn't for all you wonderful people our baby wouldn't be safe right now so again thank you.
I will update on chillie through the week and let you know how she's getting on.
All our love

- CROSS POSTED UPDATE from CHILLIE’s
fb page:
When chillie ran off and there was no sigjtings for 5 days we asked for cctv footage from neighbours Demi Murphy was sent a video of chillie running very scared ..it was then that we knew she had gone towards the railway..Demi spent day and night putting up posters and set up group for chillie and Demi was eager for that sighting to come forward..Which today it did ..a lady called Chantelle and her partner spotted chillie she was apparently stuck behind some railings and they rang the dog warden ..The dog warden then rang Demi who made her way down ..Demi’s husband and the warden went over the railings to try and get her but she kept backing away and even got back on
The tracks at one post (very dangerous indeed) Demi was on the phone to me and I asked her to ask her partner to sit quiet with food and move everyone away ..They done this with food and water and chillie slowly came ..As soon as she seen her mummy with her hands through the railways she went to her and Demi grabbed her and with the help of the wardens then lifted her over the railways ..Chillie is currently as the vets to check her over as she has lost weight and has some scraps ..Demi worked extremely hard on getting her dog back and it paid off ..Demi listened to all the advice given and followed and it paid off ..Welk done to you Demi and thanks to the wardens and the call that came in from the nice couple here is a video of the night Chillie ran and as you can see she was very scared by the thunder and lightning which is what made her run and hide ..stay safe chillie well done everyone xLast edited: 2020-06-24 16:23:31 - 2020-06-24 12:53 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- CCTV / Doorbell footage where she lives has been sought.
CROSS POSTED FROM CHILLIE’s fb GROUP :
The day chillie went missing it was thunder and lightning..we can see from the footage she was very scared and running ..She ran in the direction of the railway from danger lane ..we don’t know where from after that ..she could of made it across the railway heading towards leasowe golf club, bidston golf club,Moreton hill golf centre ..until there is a sighting we can only ask that the whole area has posters ..Chillie is more than likely is survival mode now and will be in hiding ..keep your eyes peeled Last edited: 2020-06-24 16:24:06 - 2020-06-21 21:16 Millypod (Chris) - Administrative Volunteer

- CHILLIE is STILL MISSING, there have been no reported SIGHTINGS. Demi and family are trying so hard to find her. Posters have been getting put up in the area and lots of shares on Social Media. Takes just the one poster or share to be seen and someone make that most important call.
Thanks a million to everyone who is helping to in the search for CHILLIE. - 2020-06-17 15:49 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
