I'm so very sorry to hear this Rusty. You must be absolutely devasted. Such a sad day for the blues, but please take some comfort that Sasha will have Jay, the other cocker just taken to Rainbow Bridge, for company on her way there.  xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sasha has been found, unfortunatley she was hit by a train and found by one of the workers on Monday Night, so she can be removed from the register and many thanks for all your help.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have called and spoken to owner, who is doing everything possible to find her, and was actively out looking for her when I called. Hopefully she will be found soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Rusty. Do you think Sasha could have got stuck somewhere? Did she have a lead attached or anything? Perhaps if you went back to where she went missing your other dog might be able to find her. Make sure you leave an item of your clothing with your scent on it where she disappeared - this will hopefully keep her in the same area. Hope she's home soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Jan, I have contacted cat and dog homes in both south lanarkshire, and cardonald, i have also contacted all local police stations, local dog warden and yourselves.  I spent all day yesterday putting posters round the local area, which resulted in one hoax call. Sasha has a sister holly, these two dogs have never been separated, and she is distraught as we all are. Please if anyone sees or hears anything please contact me as soon as possible.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Copied from circumstances box:  Chasing a fox never came back, always finds her way home Rusty, Sasha may well return to the area she last seen you, do return to the area and leave an item of clothing and keep checking the area.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Rusty, sorry to see Shasha is missing and thanks for registering her and uploading a photo, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1  just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).   Contact DW’s, rescues and vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great that she has been CHIPPED, please ensure the Chip Co are informed and your details are up to date. Do update us on who has been contacted ie DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
