Update from his very happy mum who was out all night looking for him:

So pleased to have Rennie home, i cant tell you how worried we have been. He was found late morning very near to where I lost him, cold & wet but otherwise he seems okay. For a dog his age to have to spend a night outdoors is awful and i wont forgive myself for it. So glad that he is home and safe, a long line will be in use from now on.

We would like to thank everyone that got involved in helping to find him, the friends & strangers who searched till late last night, from the crack of dawn today and also through the pouring rain this morning, I cant tell you how grateful we are and how kind you have been. Also the friends who wanted to come or set off to come and help and all the people who got involved with sharing on FB and offering advice & kind words. The doglost people were great and organised things last night when my head was all over the place.

I've been so touched by the kindness people have shown, i feel very lucky to have such great friends. Thank you all

Ren is tucked up on his bed in front of the fire, we'll keep a close eye on him.
