- From Dot & Mike........LOTTIE IS HOME SAFE & SOUND: The guy in the photo is called Keith Rhys. He was Lotties foster carer for 6 days. When we picked Lottie up on Thursday i described Keith as a kind & gentle soul. He is much, much more than that. Lottie did a runner this morning at 10:30 (friday). I called Keith simply out of courtesy to let him know, around 3pm i think. He immediately said to me that he was on his way; 245 miles away from Carmarthenshire. I tried to dissuade him, but he would have none of it. He arrived at Goonhavern at 22:30 with his dog Cider, who Lottie knew. We carried on with the search in the wind & rain. At 00:30 i saw the silhouette of Keith with Lottie cradled in his arms. I'm not ashamed to say that i shed tears of joy. Keith set off back home at 01:30. Absolutely incredible guy. A total credit to the rehoming center that he works for (many tears) & a wonderful human being. Furthermore, a massive thankyou to everyone in the Perranzabuloe area who have been so kind & selfless in their efforts to help locate Lottie. A special thankyou to Maxine Young who gave time & technical equipment. I'm not going to mention specific names as many folk just tipped up to help, who's names we didn't catch. Sorry about that. We will be forever in your debt. Thankyou to you all from the bottom of our hearts...Mike, Dot, Charlie & Lottie ps. I knew Lottie was going to be trouble; just like her older, departed sister, Daisy, who she never met...

- Selma was succesfully caught in the early hours.
She is home having a sleep (as are her owners).
Her owners did a great job in searching correctly for her, knowing how scared she was. They were out all day, following up sightings. The weather was appalling, but they just changed clothes & went back out again.
Welcome home Selma (now Lottie) - 2020-07-03 22:33 Max - Area Co-ordinator - Cornwall & Area Volunteer - Durham & Ireland
- There have been a couple of sightings this evening.
I am in touch with owners. A previous fosterer is attending tonight to assist.
Movements being monitored tonight.
Hopefully a trap will be available for use if she isn't caught tonight. - 2020-07-03 20:01 Louise
