"She’s home!
36 hours of utter despair. Lottie found her way back to the garden she escaped from. She is hungry, tired and dirty but overall she’s our little girl and she’s home. We have been totally overwhelmed by the community spirit, love and support by so, so many people and support organisations. Thank you, thank you, thank you x x x"Last edited: 2020-07-20 06:13:17 by Administrator - 2020-07-19 11:30 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

- Lottie is a nervous white Labradoodle. She was rescued 7 months ago and went missing during a house move from North Wraxall to Sutton Benger (9 miles) on Saturday 18th July.
For this reason it's safest to assume that she’s in survival mode and views all humans as predators. So no intensive searching please (eg off normal footpaths) as this will scare her and scared dogs make bad decisions and move areas. If you do see her please DO NOT CALL, CHASE or try
to CATCH – instead, IGNORE AND WITHDRAW and contact 07712517695 Becky, her owner, is the only person likely to catch her.
Due to the proximity of the motorway, nothing should be done which pushes her in that direction.
However, if the opportunity arises to calmly shut her in a completely secure area distant from the motorway then go for it.
Please can a 5 mile radius of both villages be postered and awareness raised amongst people working/active outdoors.

- I've emailed specific advice but please do this tonight.
She may not have run far and will try to return home if she’s not scared by people she encounters. This commonly occurs during the early
hours of the morning. To cover this possibility, hang out unwashed clothes from the people she likes best to create a scent trail to
guide her home. Allow access to the garden/house and place her bedding on the ground for comfort, along with food and water. - 2020-07-18 22:17 Louise
