Recent comment left on Facebook group "Cocker Spaniel" where lady has bought a male red/golden cocker spaniel. Possible link. Surname of original poster is 'Letch'. Might be worth taking a look (sorry it won't let me share the URL as it is a private group).

Further to the post by CR below, the found dog has now been registered on Doglost UK so good pictures available. See DL ref 166944. Dog is microchipped so will be easy to check if a match. The White mark on head is more of a triangle shape. Joanx

Whoa!! Excuse me! This lady emailed us at spaniel aid on 27th July. We replied , asked for the chip number, cross checked it against our database and informed her we check all chips and that we DID NOT have her dog. We were helpful and polite and sympathetic. If admin would like to contact me I have a nice array of screenshots to prove this!! I am furious !!

was going to say Spaniel Aid only do foster based Rescue so would still have him but just seen the date he was lost.

Message from owner to say that Spaniel Aid had him but refuse to discuss anything. Owner never gave up ownership. Suggested she get some legal advice.

Thanks to Jan Hilton (Scouse Pets 2 fb group) for the alert to the above FOUND one. Have checked and the chip numbers do not match. Have run a chip check for the FOUND on DogLost and no other matches come to any dogs whose chip numbers have been added to their registration, it so important the chip number is added to help with any FOUND dogs with the AW’s.
