Twiggy update 27.11.2020
Hi everyone,
Today marks 4 months since Twiggy went missing and our home doesn’t feel the same without her. We are still hopeful she is out there, in survival mode and fending for herself. The Forfar community have been so helpful and supportive of our search. We would be really grateful, especially if you live close to the Loch, if you could still be checking areas that she could have made a bed such as sheds/outbuildings or sheltered areas of your garden especially as the weather turns colder it may force her to take more shelter.
Last month, we shared that we were using trail cameras to try capture images of Twiggy and recently we have captured two on our cameras that we think could be Twiggy. She will be living nocturnally and only coming out to hunt, but her patterns may change as the weather starts to get colder. If you know anybody who works Orchardbank Business Park then we would be really grateful if you passed on this information so they can stay vigilant for signs of Twiggy. We would also be grateful to members of the sports clubs near the Loch, or anyone who walks the area frequently, to keep an eye out and pass on anything they feel relevant.
Lastly, as a family we want to give our thanks to James Watt and Jennifer Herd, and of course their dog Raven. Over the past 4 months they have given countless hours of support to our family and many other families in similar situations. The best outcome would be them being able to meet Twiggy! 🤞🏻🐾💕

- From Twiggy's mum on Help Find Twiggy facebook page "Hi everyone.. Twiggy’s mum here..this came up on my memories this morning from last year and wanted to share.
We’ve owned Maggie for 7 years - Twiggy’s mum - who is also very special to us, Twiggy was the tiniest of the litter and we couldn’t resist keeping her. She was always very independent despite her size and had her own wee toys that kept her amused. She was much tinier than her siblings and was a bit spoilt.. often getting fed from a teaspoon to build her strength up .... Despite her small size, she has a huge personality and gives the best cuddles.
There is a big gap here at home without her and I can’t let go that she might still be out there having found a comfy wee safe space to survive. She’s a fit wee dog and could easily have travelled further afield from the lost point so any help in the surrounding areas - checking garden sheds, barns, outhouses etc for signs of a bed would be greatly appreciated.
Please share and don’t hesitate to call with anything you feel might be useful or unusual that might help us be reunited 🤞💕🐾 - 2020-08-16 11:13 twoDs
