As no one has come forward for this girl and she had been in stray kennels for the statutory time this girl has  now been found a  new home with owners whose own border collie had recently died. Its good that she has gone to owners  with experience of the breed and I wish her a long and happy life with them. Pam xxx

No reply to my email and no reply to follow up call to mobile no for Dots owner.  Know it might NOT be her just wanted it to be checked out just in case.

20.07pm ~ email and photo of Molly received from owner, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be this dog.  Have advised him to register Molly's disappearance and gave him admins email address and tele number.  Someone must be missing this lovely girl ~ lets hope she is claimed soon.

Just seen this and hope she is reunited soon  . re negative posts.. we do this just to reunite dogs with their owners. No one is in it for brownie points!  Sometimes errors can be made we are human after all!!   and at least we are here checking out other sites on behalf of owners because we want them to get their dogs back. My dog looks black and tan as he is German shepherd/collie cross   (though when sunlight shines on him the black bits look to turn to a russet colour)  I also seem to remember that last weekend was bright and sunny-well - by me it was ! :-)

I do hope that this lovely dog is soon reunited with her owners, I am not sure what the negative comments posted earlier are all about, I will ask my friends who fly ball with Border Collies if they have heard of a missing one in the area.  Liz

decided to send them another message just in case.  The reference of 'molly' on pet reg is 10933.  I have asked them to let us know if it is not he.  Fingers crossed, someone must be missing this lovely girl. xx

Re an prev comment below, I think this could be Molly, missing on Nat Pet Reg since 04/11 from North Yorks.  B&W with tan on legs...I have sent a messgae to the owners via the reg to check this page ~ fingers crossed! xx

At first glance I thought this FOUND BC was Red & White but looking at the photo properly can see it is the way the photo has been taken in the Sun.  We are lucky to get a photo at all as so many people of LOST & FOUND do not supply one.  Well done to the finders for taking the time to put the details and photo on DL.  Hope owner is found soon she looks lovely.  Jan x

Can i just emphasise once again that this dog IS BLACK AND WHITE with a little tan on her back legs. !!   I have spoken with the finders at length on more than one occasion and this photo, which I put on site myself was taken this Saturday on what was at times a very sunny day up here and the sunlight has made her appear lighter. ~ Pam

Dog found 16/11/08 very cold in that part of the world at that time. Finder wearing shorts. The picture looks like taken on a great summer day. This does not add up..

she is definately black and white with a little tan on the top of her back legs. i think the sun must have been quite bright in the photo making her look reddish. she is apparently a lovely friendly girl. Merymut I have not been able to find the dog you mention on Pet register but hopefully they will answer your message if they think she might be their dog.
